The Warren Youth Project supports young people to take control of their lives and become their best selves by helping them to develop the skills that can make it happen.
It is the lead partner for the Hull Connected Futures Partnership.
MEaP (Making Education a Priority) is a consortium of organistions focused on addressing barriers in education for Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities across Greater Manchester.
It provides additional educational support and safe spaces for young people to learn, offering revision support and tutoring, career guidance, skills development and opportunities to celebrate their cultural heritage and community involvement. MEaP also offers programmes specifically designed for 18-24 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, the charity plans to pilot an on and off-the-job training programme for 16-24 year olds, strengthening and developing employer partnerships across the digital, technology and creative industries. This will be a new aspect to its work, linking expertise in education to the world of employment.

Ultra Education believes every young person should have the chance to turn their passion into a future career. All children should do what they love, regardless of their socioeconomic background and have access to an entrepreneurial education. Talent is everywhere we look, however, opportunities are not.
Ultra Education’s mission is to empower Black and marginalised communities to create their own opportunities, opening doors to paid work placements and breaking the cycle of exclusion. Since 2015, Ultra Education has supported over 15,000 young people in developing entrepreneurial skills, launching over 1,000 youth-led businesses and providing access to work experience.
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, the charity will pilot an evidence-based off-the-job training programme to support young people into the fundraising sector. This will involve digital fundraising, bid writing, event fundraising, and community consultation, equipping young people with transferable entrepreneurial skills for self-employment—an area of growing interest among the young people they support.

Sports Key is a Black-led social enterprise delivering accessible sports and physical activity programmes to underserved communities in Birmingham. It also offers a 12 month youth enterprise programme for young people at risk of falling into the criminal justice system with the aim of increasing participants employment prospects through mentoring, skills development and qualifications, volunteering and employment opportunities. Many graduates of this programme have become employed members of staff at Sports Key, delivering the community sports sessions and supporting the administration and marketing of the organisation.
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, the charity aims to strengthen its employment pathways for young people in sectors beyond sport, establishing partnerships with employers in recruitment, corporate events, technology and engineering to develop an evidence-based off-the-job training programme alongside industry experts.

Rise Up supports marginalised young people aged 16-30 from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds across Greater Manchester. It offers 1-1 mentoring, skills development and interview preparation as well as training for qualifications.
It recruits employer hosts to provide 3-6-month paid on-the-job placements and mentoring across industries including Tech, Retail, Construction and the Housing sector. Employers have also helped co-design courses for young people to gain sector -specific skills in the digital industry.
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, the charity aims to strengthen its on- and off-the-job training offer and ensure a seamless link between the two. It intends to create up to four “pathways into” industry programs, each underpinned by work skills qualifications, industry experts and leading to paid on-the-job placements with employers.

Punch Records began as a Black music record store in Birmingham, hosting DJ competitions and organising community events before moving into outreach and employability programmes for young people.
Now Punch works directly with young people (aged 16-29) with the aim of “transforming lives through music” and preparing young people for careers in the creative industries through skills development programmes including Gallery37 and Community Routes.
These are hands-on, artist-led programmes where young people can translate their creativity into employability; pitching ideas, planning approaches and writing applications.

Miss Macaroon supports 18 to 35 year olds from underserved backgrounds across Birmingham who face barriers to entering the workforce and have been unemployed for more than six months.
With a focus in the catering and retail industry, Miss Macaroon and corporate partners provide on-the-job training in their commercial bakery, shop, coffee shop and warehouse where young people could be offered a six-month fixed-term contract and develop practical skills in a real work environment. It also provide six weeks of Off-the-job training for young people to build technical expertise outside the workplace through structured workshops, enabling young people to complete sector-specific qualifications.
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, Miss Macaroon aims to refine its training offer based on evidence, and scale up impact by establishing corporate partnerships beyond the catering and retail industry to achieve the ambition to replicate its approach and support young people into construction, funeral and travel business opportunities.

IMO Charity exists to enable young people of South Asian heritage to improve their quality of life and be more resilient. Based in Blackburn with Darwen, IMO primarily reach communities experiencing serious challenges due to deep-rooted socioeconomic deprivation. Their employability programmes focus on cyber and tech careers, offering careers guidance, numeracy support, accredited courses; a Volunteer Academy for those aged 18-24 and employability skills support for those close to release from prison.
As part of our Evidence into Action programme, IMO plan to support young people into careers through their growing network of business patrons, integrating employer mentoring with master classes in industry-specific skills-development and career coaching. Fully Focused Productions is an independent production company established in 2010 to give young creatives from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to learn new skills, grow confidence, gain industry awareness and make content that feels truly representative. Founders of the Million Youth Media Training Academy and the Million Youth Media Youtube/social platforms (750k subscribers), it is supporting the next generation of filmmakers to produce award-winning, high-impact film, TV and online content that truly reflects the communities it serves.
Every commission enables young people to gain valuable experience, paid employment and transferable skills whilst simultaneously injecting every brief with an authentic youth voice. Its on and off- the-job training programme provides young people to explore key roles across every stage of production on their own projects and live commissions.

Amber supports young adults aged 18-30 who are facing complex problems and experiencing homelessness towards employment, education and training through 24/7 supported accommodation across four residential centres in Devon, Kent, Surrey, and Wiltshire.

Switch Up uses mentoring techniques along with physical training to engage and empower Nottingham’s young people to break the cycle of offending and reoffending.
As part of our What Works programme, Switch Up provided a range of mentoring, boxing and employability support over 12 weeks to 102 young people aged 14-24 in Nottinghamshire. The support was aimed at those who experienced a range barriers to employment and were NEET or at risk of becoming NEET.

Sport 4 Life is a West Midlands-based charity. It works with young people aged 11-29, supporting them into sustained education, employment and training through sports programmes, mentoring and structured group-based training activities.

Pentreath Ltd. is a Cornish charity that supports people living with mental health and emotional difficulties to achieve their vocational goals.

PATRA Inc ACDA works with young people aged 16–24 from racially and socially disadvantaged groups, and their families and communities, to ensure they are able to progress in learning and work.
PATRA was funded to support 40 young people aged 16-24 in Nottingham who are NEET and predominately from African and Caribbean communities through intergenerational and culturally-specific wrap-around engagement. Football Beyond Borders works with young people from areas of socio-economic disadvantage who are passionate about football but disengaged at school, to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood.
It’s standard programme offers a balanced schedule of weekly two-hour sessions divided between classroom-based learning and football activities, combined with therapeutic interventions, in-school pastoral care, and regular reward excursions during half-term breaks.
Football Beyond Borders’ practitioners are trained to become relatable, consistent and trusted adults in the lives of young people.
Football Beyond Borders has an excellent record of developing trusted relationships with young people in schools from areas of socio-economic disadvantage and experience in using therapeutic mentoring interventions.
This is why it is a delivery partner for the Building Futures programme, providing personalised support to up to 500 young people aged 12 to 15 over a whole academic year during the initial programme phase.

DurhamWorks is a programme designed for individuals aged 16 to 24 living in County Durham who are not already engaged in education, employment, or training. The programme is delivered by a team of dedicated professionals who offer career information, advice, and guidance to support young people in achieving their ambitions and potential.
With tailored support that includes assistance in creating CVs, job searches, interview preparation, and ongoing guidance once employed, DurhamWorks also offers financial aid to address initial employment-related costs.
The project, funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, aims to provide inclusive support to remove barriers hindering young people’s progress.
We are partnering with Durham County Council to boost youth employment via its programme partner DurhamWorks.

Drive Forward Foundation supports care-experienced young adults through a package of individualised support designed to help develop the skills and networks they need to find fulfilling employment.
It offers a mix of tailored one-to-one support, intensive employability skills training, in-work mentoring, and opportunities provided through working in partnership with corporate partners, prospective employers and local authorities.

Cumbria Youth Alliance provides infrastructure support for organisations working with children, young people and families. They provide direct support in a variety of settings, schools, alternative provision, youth and community settings.
The funding they have received will enable Cumbria Youth Alliance to support 150 young people to help them work towards achieving their career aspirations through a programme of employability support activities, including individual tailored plans. Further, access to specialist support around mental health, drug and alcohol addiction, increasing soft skills and vocational training will form part of the overall delivery package.

1625 Independent People supports young people aged 16-25 who are at risk of becoming homeless or are already homeless through a range of specialist projects and services.
1625 Independent People are part of our What Works programme. The have been awarded a grant to supports 156 young people aged 16-24 who are care leavers or homeless/at risk of homelessness. The young people receive 1-2-1 support from ‘Coaches’. The frequency and type of support varies, but is based on a youth version of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, called DNA-V.

15billionep is a charity committed to ‘transforming young futures’ through promoting social mobility and raising aspirations among young people. They work closely with employers, local authorities, European agencies and education institutes to understand the labour market and prepare young people for today’s workplace, boosting their job prospects and the calibre of candidates available to potential employers.
Using their grant funding, 15billionebp provided a range of support to 90 young people at local secondary schools to reduce the number of school exclusions. Each school within the London Borough of Newham identified a cohort of young people using the Risk of NEET Indicator (RONI) system and school knowledge of the individuals. The project was delivered to young people from BAME/socio-economically disadvantaged communities who enrolled on the project for two years.
