Youth Futures Foundation is delighted to welcome Jason Arthur as our new Director of Strategy and Innovation.

Jason will be responsible for Youth Futures’ strategy, partnership development, policy influencing and communications. Previously he was Deputy Chief Executive of Step Up To Serve, the charity established to coordinate the #iwill campaign which encourages young people to participate in social action. Jason led on strategy and partnership development at Teach First and taught at two secondary schools in London. He also served as the Cabinet Member for Finance & Health for the London Borough of Haringey.

 Jason commented:

I am very excited to be joining Youth Futures. These are exceptionally challenging times for young people making the transition into the world of work, especially those facing discrimination or disadvantage. Our challenge is to build a coalition of support for systemic change and remove the barriers that prevent so many young people from getting good jobs, establishing careers and fulfilling their potential.”
