Following a rigorous selection process, 23 independent evaluators join our refreshed and expanded panel to offer expertise in determining what works for youth employment.

As we mature as a What Works Centre, our portfolio of work has grown substantially both in size and methodological diversity.

In response to this growth, we’ve convened a group of trusted collaborators who will generate high-quality and meaningful evidence from our funded programmes that will drive change. This includes early-stage scoping through to full-scale impact evaluation.

The panel brings specific expertise across:

  • randomised controlled trials
  • quasi-experimental designs
  • implementation and process evaluation
  • economic evaluation
  • robust qualitative impact evaluation
  • systems change
  • technical guidance development
  • trauma-informed practices

Each panel member will have the opportunity to bid for upcoming commissions within our flagship programmes, including the development of methodological guidance.

“Given the scale of the youth employment challenge, it is more important than ever that we work collectively to deepen understanding of both the issue and viable solutions.

“We are delighted to establish long-standing, trusted partnerships with a broad range of organisations that are committed to generating high-quality evidence, which will continue to guide policy and practice.

“The refreshed evaluation panel supports us in our mission to ensure all young people can access good work.”
