Patricia Chale appointed as interim CEO

Youth Futures Foundation is delighted to announce that Patricia Chale (pictured above) has been appointed as interim CEO. Patricia joins full-time in April for an initial period into 2023. 

She will be fully responsible for delivering the next phase of delivery at Youth Futures.

Patricia’s career spans 25 years in senior management and Board level director roles. This involves working for and supporting a wide range of national and international organisations including the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), Greenpeace International, the UK Cyber Security Council, the Lumos Foundation (founded by JK Rowling), the BBC, Save the Children and many more.  

Sir Tony Hawkhead, Chair, Youth Futures Foundation, said:  

“Patricia’s strategic perspective and understanding of Youth Futures shone through, alongside her extensive people experience and leadership skills. The Board, and our panel of young people, recognised Patricia’s credentials in leading ambitious, mission-driven organisations.” 

Patricia Chale added: 

“I’m thrilled to be joining Youth Futures. I connected deeply with its aim to create the systemic change needed to support young people furthest from the job market get into good jobs. It’s an exciting time for the organisation, with the recent allocation of an additional £20million from the Dormant Assets Scheme, and the rollout of its flagship Connected Futures Fund. I’m looking forward to leading the team to deliver for young people from marginalised backgrounds.”
