In 2025, young people aged 16 to 25 served a year-long term as Connected Futures Ambassadors. They are now part of our Alumni Network.

What is Connected Futures?

Our flagship systems change programme of pioneering local partnerships that fosters joined-up solutions to the complex issues and barriers facing marginalised young people.

Youth-created content

Our ambassadors worked together to create a short film, showing youth voice in action across our partnerships in Brent, Hull and the East Midlands.

The film Youth Power: the current of changes presents four stories woven together with young people’s co-created spoken word poetry. It tells a powerful story about the impact of youth-centred approaches in shaping local systems change.

Young people’s ideas

Our young ambassadors were actively involved in finding solutions with local and regional stakeholders and explored links to youth-centred approaches to systems change.

The year-long programme supported young people to elevate stories across the partnerships, building a powerful narrative of young people’s localised experiences of how to change the system in partnership with system actors.
