For their final project members of the 2022-2024 Future Voices Group created a zine, evocatively sharing their lived experiences to highlight the realities young people face when seeking employment.
Blending artistic expression and facts, each page of “Future Focused” tells an engaging story that is both informative and deeply personal.
Infographics on disability employment rates sit alongside powerful artwork depicting the struggles of job hunting.
Heartfelt poems about regional inequalities are interwoven with stark statistics on ethnic disparities in employment.
Personal anecdotes are interwoven with Youth Futures’ research findings.
Every element reflects a piece of young people’s collective experience.
This vibrant collection of thoughts, experiences, and creative expressions represents far more than just ink on paper – it’s the culmination of our journey as the Future Voices Group. [...] It stands as our legacy. It’s a testament to what young people can achieve when given the platform and support to express themselves. We are changemakers with insights to share.
