Youth Futures Foundation welcomes positive and constructive independent review

Dec 12, 2023

Youth Futures Foundation has had its first four-yearly independent review commissioned by governing body the Oversight Trust.

The Quadrennial Review Panel consulted a range of Youth Futures’ stakeholders, including internal staff, our youth advisory panel, sector peers and policy makers. We are pleased to see acknowledgement of a range of achievements and impact to date; in particular our accreditation as a What Works Centre, our successful grant programmes, growing body of research and embedding of youth voice.

As a learning organisation we positively embrace feedback and the panel’s constructive comments around our mission and approach will aid our thinking as we plan for our future strategy in 2024.

We are grateful to the Panel for their time and thoroughness, the Oversight Trust for their support, as well as to the stakeholders and partners who gave their time and reflections to inform the process. We particularly want to thank the young people who work with us as part of our Future Voices Group for their contributions to the review.

The Quadrennial Review was commissioned by The Oversight Trust, as part of its regular oversight of four organisations receiving funding from Dormant Assets. The full review and responses from Youth Futures and the Oversight Trust can be found here.
