Young people – we want you on board

Dec 4, 2019

  • Aged 16-25 and live in England?
  • Passionate about young people overcoming barriers to get into work?
  • Keen to have your voice heard at a national level?
  • Do you want to have your say in how employers and government empower and support young people?
  • Do you want to take on responsibility to advance the success of the Youth Futures Foundation (YFF)?

We are recruiting for two additional Directors to join our current Board, and both roles are reserved for young people living in England who have direct or indirect experience of facing challenges when trying to get into work

The role will require you to be available for approximately 12 days a year for a minimum of two years. It will be paid at a rate above the London Living Wage, and all travel and other reasonable expenses will be covered (meaning you can apply if you are from any part of England)

Our current Board of Directors is made up of six members, including the Chair, with a wealth of experience between them including youth employment issues, public and statutory sector governance, policy, business, finance, operations, management and consultancy.

We take youth voice very seriously and are committed to ensuring that young people’s voices are meaningfully involved at all levels of the organisation. Were really excited to be recruiting two young people to the Board, bringing fresh insight, energy and lived experience to the team!
