Reflecting on our youth participation work

Feb 10, 2022

At Youth Futures Foundation, we’re incredibly fortunate to work with some of the brightest, engaged and motivated young people from around the country in a variety of capacities.

From our Future Voice Group, who provide guidance and insights based on their unique lived experiences on how we can improve the youth employment support system, to members of the Youth Reference Group, whose support as peer commissioners is essential to the evaluation of our Inspiring Futures grant programme. To our Young Board Members, whose accountability ensures we remain focused on our goal of supporting those furthest from the labour market find good jobs – we appreciate the time and effort each young person has dedicated to support our mission.

Last year, we were excited to host our first in-person Future Voices residential weekend in Birmingham. This was a great opportunity for our Ambassadors to get to know each other through team-building exercises and offer their thoughts on Youth Futures’ business plan for the year ahead.
