Invitation to potential delivery partners

Aug 7, 2020

The Youth Futures Foundation (YFF) is seeking a delivery partner to work with us over two years to train, support and facilitate our Future Voices Group (FVG) to ensure it is effective, impactful and providing developmental opportunities for all its members.

The Future Voices Group (FVG) will be a forward-thinking group of up to 12 young people who will bring their lived experiences and perspectives on barriers to employment to become Youth Futures’ Ambassadors.

Ambassadors will have the following responsibilities:

  • Advise on Youth Futures Foundation’s outputs including grant making, research and evaluation, policy and influencing
  • Inform our recommendations to transform practice and bring about systems change
  • Represent Youth Futures Foundation engaging in important conversations with policymakers, researchers, funders and practitioners
  • Help to shape and implement further initiatives to engage young people digitally across all our work.

We are an independent, not-for-profit organisation set up to help tackle the root causes of youth unemployment. We launched last year as the sole organisation in England focused on improving the employment outcomes of young people who face disadvantage or discrimination in the labour market. We are funding and testing effective programmes on the ground, strengthening the evidence base to better support practice, as well as collaborating with key players across the country to leverage lasting change for young people who need it most. All of this will be achieved with a diverse range of young people at the heart, who will help us to achieve our mission.

We were already raising the alarm about youth unemployment before the Covid-19  pandemic hit. Now we face even greater challenges, our work is even more critical. The generation most affected by this crisis must have a voice in the discussions that shape this country’s response and the creation of our Future Voices Group will be key to this.

For more information, or to request a copy of the Invitation to Tender, please contact, [email protected].

Please note the closing date of 12pm on 11 September 2020. There are two deadlines for questions: 26 August and 4 September. We will respond to all questions systematically to ensure a fair and transparent process.
