This month, our Marketing and Communications Executive, Reena Staves caught up with Marcellus Baz, the founder and CEO of Nottingham School of Boxing and Switch Up.
Marcellus spoke about his personal journey and how boxing became his coping mechanism for channeling painful or frustrating emotions. In the interview, Marcellus also discussed the importance of education and a strong support network in a young person’s life and how this can make all the difference in their development.
Switch up has received a Youth Futures Development grant. This will support young people who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET by providing a range of mentoring, counselling, physical fitness activities and employability support.
