Case Study

Youth Employment UK

by | Aug 23, 2022

This project will establish how Youth Employment UK’s existing Youth Friendly Employment Framework, endorsed by Goldsmiths, University of London, can be built upon. It will also provide a data collection and analysis infrastructure through which evidence can be gathered on employer practice with respect to youth employment.

The scope of this piece of work will be:
1. Creating an evidence base of good youth employment practice
2. Create a digital Good Youth Employment Benchmarking Tool

Part 1 of the project will be about evidencing that the existing standards in the framework speak to the needs of the youth employment system and, in addition, that employment outcomes for young people can be changed by the achievements of the standards.

Part 2 Will be the creation of an online assessment tool for employers to review and benchmark their youth employment practice for early careers (school engagement), work experience and employment.
