The Senior Economist is based in our Impact and Evidence team to help us understand and have an impact on youth unemployment in England. They are expert in economic analysis, quantitative methods and project design, helping to build our growing economics, data analysis, and research portfolio.

The role manages and/or supports all aspects of Youth Futures economic and data analysis, from design to impact, and work closely with colleagues across the organisation.

This includes identifying important research questions; identifying and assessing the impact of economic trends and policies on young people and youth employment; working with our research and analysis partners to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard, on time and to budget; and quality assuring outputs to deliver clear recommendations that will influence relevant practice and policy. This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home with regular travel across England.
