Samantha Barker

About

Samantha started her career specialising in education, initially honing her policy skills at Save the Children. She previously led on education, skills and employment policy at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, before later returning to the Chambers Network as Director of Policy and Skills at Liverpool Chamber.

With a strong trade association background, Samantha has worked closely with, as well as within the private sector. She spent several years providing public affairs, strategic communications and consultation expertise in the built environment & infrastructure industry.

Outside of work, Samantha can usually be found cheering on her kids – from the sparkle of ballroom dancing to the flying kicks of karate – and unwinding with a good book or a yoga mat (ideally without being climbed on by small humans).
