Angel is a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer who is passionate about widening access and equal opportunity. She supports the delivery of our policy strategy and works with other youth employment organisations and young people to champion breaking down barriers to education, training and work. Before joining Youth Futures Foundation, Angel supported policy, research and communications at the Sutton Trust, most notably in collecting data for the Social Mobility Commission’s Elitist Britain 2019 report and leading on social media campaigns. Most recently, she supported young people from low- and middle-income backgrounds to explore American higher education at the US-UK Fulbright Commission. Breaking down the barriers marginalised young people face accessing education, training and employment is a matter close to Angel’s heart. Outside of work, she loves musical theatre and mentoring.
